Spring Harvest
Hi, in a couple of weeks, my family and I are going to Spring Harvest! (YAY!!!!!) it is my first time. I was wondering whether anyone had any tips, ideas, suggestions? We are going 13th-19th April to Minehead and will be taking our caravan and staying at the Blue Anchor caravan park a couple of miles away from Butlins. So I'll look forward to hopefully seeing some peeps from BEC.
God Bless

Re: Spring Harvest
HI Iona,
i've only ever been to Skegness for SH, but it should be similar.
No real tips - it should be good fun for all... there can be too much to choose from so defnitely get a programme planner, so you can plan ahead.
The big top can get quite hot and stuffy - worth taking a bottle of drink - bought outside rather than the butlins prices.
If you want to buy anything from the bookstall/merchandise area, get it when you see it, they can and do run out and don't restock in the week.
have fun.
Kev.

Re: Spring Harvest
Thanks Kevin, that's good stuff. I have asked the same question over on Facebook, but I figure not everyone at BEC has a FB account. Hopefully see you tonight at the members meeting.
God Bless

Re: Spring Harvest
LOL, I believe you. Meeting was all finished by 9.05pm, so the 2nd half could be watched.

Re: Spring Harvest
Hiya,
I would say, Dont try and do too much. It is easy to overload cos there is so much going on.
As Kevin says, get the programme planner and pick out the things you really want to do. Dont feel you have to do eveything! And enjoy. Look forward to good stories when you get back.
Karon and I have always enjoyed it.
Mike
