God is at work in the community – whether people realise it or not – and He is concerned about each person, their hurts, as well as their joys. We believe that our responsibility as Christians is to bear witness to His presence and that we are to live lives which embody and point to the evidence of this presence. We do this in the way we serve and worship Him in the church and the wider community. We recognise that we cannot do this without the empowering of the Holy Spirit.
In fact, we believe that nothing of any lasting value will take place unless it is energised through an encounter with the Spirit of God. He is the One Who enables and empowers God’s people to do God’s work by imparting spiritual gifts to each believer as He sees fit.
