The BEC Youth is an active, exciting and fantastic group of over 80 young people (aged 11 – 19) who are passionate about their faith, their communities and living their lives for God. The young people meet in small groups (called cell-groups) and are involved in a wide range activities and programs.

There are 8 Youth-Cells which meet on a range of different days during the week, they are largely based on age and sex In the cells, we spend time building trust and relationships with each other and God. The Cell is a small group (up to 10 people) which is the heart of the “church” where lives will change. We also do loads of social stuff, weekends away, events, trips, camps, activities etc

Each year (in the Autumn Term) we run a Youth Alpha course. This is a 8-week course giving the opportunity to explore and discuss the Christian faith. The sessions begin with a meal (provided free) followed by some fun activities, discussion and learning – all in a very relaxed and comfortable environment! We meet on Tuesday evenings at “Re:Generate” for social activities: Playstation, games, DJ mixing, football, dance-mats, Dodgeball, chilling, chatting etc. The club has a tuck-shop and is for any young people in years 7, 8 & 9 – come along and find out more.Posted by admin on Tuesday, 17 June, 2008 @ 8:37 am
Every other month we run an event called “Pilot7″. There are inflatables, live bands, sports tournaments, bonfires, bar-b-q, MCing & DJing, tuckshop. The dates for 2008 are 27th Jan, 13th April, 22nd June & 12th Oct. It’s great fun and a good opportunity to invite your friends along. See you there.

BEC are involved with RugbyYFC in running a monthly youth event called “Elevate” where you will find fantastic music, worship, discussion and talks. A great place to meet other Christian young people, learn about God and spend time worshipping and praising him.

There is a great team of nearly 20 volunteer youth workers who lead, teach and disciple the young people. They also organise and run the trips, events & activities for the youth. The church provides training for the youth leadership team and they all attend a youth leaders conference each year.
